Gertrude Mathilde Rosemary

Gertrude M. Rosemary, 89, of Harrington, DE passed away August 11, 2017 at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center.

A native to Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Casimer and Agnes (Tribull) Rosemary and moved to Delaware with her family where she became a lifelong resident. She retired in 1988 from Bell Atlantic Telephone Company. Gertrude enjoyed fishing and crabbing at her Fenwick summer home.

Gertrude was predeceased by siblings, Anna, Charles, Edward, Amelia, Urban, James and Lorraine. She is survived by two brothers, Robert of Harrington, DE (with whom she lived) and Norbert of Cape Charles, VA and several nieces and nephews.

A Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, August 17, at the Chapel of All-Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Gertrude to St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 109 Dixon Street, Harrington, DE 19952.
