So very sorry to hear of Rog's passing. I had the good luck to work with Rog many years ago at Happy Harry's. It was a real pleasure. A fine man and a terrific pharmacist.
My condolences to Sam and the rest of the family.

It was an honor to have Roger be part of our wedding as a groomsman 50 years ago, and for us to travel to Kentucky to be part of his as well. Our years as teens attending the same church and participating in so many young people's activities are wonderful memories! We send our sympathy to his family, especially his mother-- a beloved Sunday School teacher; his brother Stephen-- who may remember us; and his children who have a man of great integrity, work ethic, and gracious spirit to emulate. We look forward to seeing Roger again one day in heaven. It will be a celebration in the presence of our Lord and Savior! We are so glad to have shared those earlier years with Roger, a wonderful friend.

Had the opportunity to work with Roger at Larkar Pharmacy in Barrington, he was a big influence on me there, and kept me on the right track. I graduated two years after Roger In 1971 went to see him at Ft Campbell, Ky. We were not in touch for about 40 years, then two started talking 2 to 3 times a year. I last talked to him sometime this summer and we talked about our alma mater, and hoped that it would turn in a new direction. He was a positive influence on my pharmacy career, I will miss talking to him about our school. There were many times he took me home from work at Larkars. My condolences to his family.
