Dorothy M. Ruhl

Dorothy M. Ruhl, age 72, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Saturday May 5, 2018.  Dorothy was born in Salem, NJ, to the late John and Cecelia Ruhl of Salem, NJ.  She graduated from Salem High School in 1963 and Franklin School of Science & Art Philadelphia in 1965.

After high school Dorothy worked for Doctor Xhilome then DuPont Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware.  Dorothy enjoyed numerous hobbies and activities during her life.  She was an avid skier, enjoyed painting ceramics and going to the beach.   Dorothy was an active member of her community and church.  She was always willing to help her family and neighbors.

She is survived by a sister Mary Evans and her husband William of Davenport, Florida, a brother John F. Ruhl Sr. and his wife Beatrice of Newport, North Carolina and by several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday May 25, 2018 at St Helena’s Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington 19809 where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Her interment will be held in the Tree Of Life Columbarium, Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington DE.
