Elbert Lee Willoughby

Elbert Lee Willoughby, age 85, of Bear, DE passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2017 at Christiana Hospital.

Al proudly served in the US Army in the Korean War from 1950 to 1952. Upon returning home Elbert worked at the General Motors Plant in Wilmington, DE for 34 years. He retired in 1987 and was a proud member of the UAW Local 435. In his free time, Elbert enjoyed tinkering with tractors, lawn mowers or anything with a small motor.

Mr. Willoughby is survived by his wife of 61 years Judith D. Willoughby, his son Steven "Craig" and his wife Donna, granddaughter Kristina Bocanegra and her husband Jayson and granddaughter Angela Willoughby. El loved his many pets over the years especially his Jack Russell "Mickey" and his cat "Tabby".

A Committal Service will be held on at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701.
