Florence J. Treadway (nee Linkous)
Florence, age 98, was welcomed into her heavenly home on August 1st, 2018. She passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness.
Born in West Virginia to the late Elbert Lee and Nettie D. Linkous, she later moved to Elkton, Maryland where
she lived for 50 years before moving to Newark, Delaware in 2004.
She was predeceased in death by husband Hurl A. Treadway; son, Ritchie Lee Treadway; brothers, Otis Linkous, Donald Linkous and James Linkous; and sisters, Maxine Pinder, Katherine Burgess and Bonnie Creasey.
She will be dearly missed by niece Nancy Swartz and husband Donald, with whom she lived and was cared for these past 14 years.
Burial at Gilpin Manor Memorial Park in Elkton, MD was private.
