Glen R. McDaniels

Glen Robert McDaniels, Sr. (Bobby), 84, of Elsmere, Delaware, passed away on November 25, 2017.

Born in West Virginia, he was the son of Glen Roy McDaniels and Mary Lee White. He was a retired shuttle driver from Carman Ford and in the auto body business his entire life.

Glen was an avid golfer. He loved to travel, enjoyed watching old movies (especially the black and whites), loved Nascar, but most of all he loved watching his Dallas Cowboys. He had a photographic memory when it came to football.

Glen is survived by his children, Gregory A. McDaniels and wife Donna of Smyrna, and Carole L. Webber and husband Tom of Newark; grandchildren: Tara Bozarth, Tanya McDaniels, Alicia McDaniels, Alex Ratel and Jasmin McDaniels; and his sister Nancy Ireland. He was preceded in death by his brother, David McDaniels, his son Glen Robert McDaniels, Jr., and his grandson, Gregory A. McDaniels, Jr.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the amazing staff at Regal Heights, H-wing. They are the true meaning of tender loving care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Ewell’s-St. Paul United Methodist Church, 401 West St., Clayton, Delaware 19938 at 1:00 p.m. with a luncheon immediately following the service.
