Lois J. Steinly, age 90 of Newark, passed away on Saturday January 20, 2018.
Mrs. Steinly graduated from high school. During her free time she enjoyed collecting dolls, writing and sending handwritten letters to friends and family. Lois was a devoted Christian, using the same King James Bible for decades literally wearing it out with notes and references to her favorite scripture verses. Most of all she loved her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Hubert A. Steinly, Sr. Mrs. Steinly is survived by her sons, Hubert A. Steinly, Jr. and Howard K. Steinly, 3 grandchildren Jennifer Scott, Michael Steinly, and April Maker, 3 great grandchildren, 8 great grandsons, and 1 great great granddaughter.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702 where the visitation will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The Burial Service will be private.
