Robert Scheidegg Obituary

Robert R. Scheidegg, age 85, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018.

Bob resided in Long Neck, Delaware for the last 18 years. He retired from Sun Olin Chemical Co and was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a lifetime member of The Amvets and American Legion in Millsboro.  He loved his time spent on his boat, fishing and crabbing.

Robert was predeceased by wife of 45 years, Nancy and his son, Bobby, and companion Jeri Rassa.

Bob is survived by remaining children Ann Charles (Bob), Nancy Musto (Jerry), David Scheidegg, and Gale Kuchler (Mike) and daughter-in-law Ginger Scheidegg, 9 grandchildren, Mark and Brian Whiteside, Jamison and Anthony Musto, Jessica and Steven Scheidegg, and Brittany, Brooke, and David Scheidegg, and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Ferdinand and Allyn and sisters, Arlene and Ann.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 12 noon at Brandywine Valley Funeral Care “Beeson Chapel”, 412 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809. The visitation hour will begin at 11 am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Compassionate Care, 248 East Chestnut Hill Road, Suite 4, Newark, DE 19713.
