Roger Dale Lester

Roger Dale Lester of Georgetown, formally of Newark, age 70, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018.

Roger was born in West Virginia, graduated from Trap Hill High School, then obtained a degree in accounting from Goldey Beacom College. 　He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golfing, photography, and riding his Harley Fatboy Motorcycle. 　He was a member of the American Legion and served time with the Army in the Vietnam War.

Roger is survived by his wife Patricia Lester; his son Matthew and daughter-in-law Judith Lester, and granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Lester. Siblings include Roger’s brother David Lester, and sisters Gloria Rodrigue, Freda (Susie) Beck, and Carol Evans plus many more extended family.

Friends may attend the viewing on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Hwy, Newark, DE 19702. 　In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Jennifer Lynn Lester College Fund.
