Alice Kriebel Obituary

Alice Grace Kriebel, age 73, lost her battle with Alzheimer's on February 18, 2020.

Born in Wilmington, DE, Alice was the daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn Carl. She married the love of her life, Steven, on December 10, 1966. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed traveling with her husband. They especially enjoyed a cruise where they ended up staying for a month, instead of 2 weeks. Alice loved dancing to country music and going out.  She collected dolls, which began with bride dolls. After taking classes to learn, she made beautiful dolls and had an impressive collection. In her later years, Alice made jewelry to give to her granddaughters. She was always busy, making cards to send to everyone and doing ceramics. She had the same sense of humor as her sister, Evelyn, they were best friends who both loved to prank. Alice had an amazing smile.  She fought breast cancer 4 times starting early in her 30's, the last few years she fought Alzheimer’s. Her wonderful husband cared for her at home through it all.

Alice is survived by her husband of 53 years, Steven B. Kriebel Sr., son Robert W. Kriebel and partner Donna Conrad, son Steven B. Kriebel, Jr., grandchildren Amanda Taylor and spouse Rob, Kayla McGee, Ashley Davis and spouse Lee and Robert Kriebel and partner Kayla Abbott, 2 great grandchildren, brother Charles Carl and wife Patricia, sister Kathryn Farmer and husband David. In addition to her parents, Alice was predeceased by her sister Evelyn Scott McMahon and brother James Carl.
