Carolyn J. (Krajewski) LaFazia

Carolyn J. (Krajewski) LaFazia, age 76, of Bear, DE, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in Wilmington, DE.

Carolyn was born in Wilmington, DE in 1946, the daughter of the late Jesse and Charlotte (Jonkiert) Krajewski of Wilmington. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy, the University of Delaware, and Wilmington University. She worked for 30 years as an elementary teacher in four different Delaware school districts, as well as two years in Clark County School District in Las Vegas, NV.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Krajeski of Wilmington, DE.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis LaFazia of Bear, DE and her loving children, Chad LaFazia (Melanie) of Landenberg, PA and Kara Oliver (John) of Wilmington, DE. She will also be missed by her 6 grandchildren: Mia, Jack, and Cecilia LaFazia, and Johnny, Juliana, and Aleena Oliver.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 10-11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 345 Bear-Christiana Rd., Bear, DE 19701. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will be private at a later date.
