Charles DePrince

Charles Deprince, age 77, of Newark, DE and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away at his home in Newark on September 1, 2025 after battling a long illness.

Charles was a 1966 graduate of Bishop Neumann High School in Philadelphia. After graduation, he served in the US Army during Vietnam and went on to continue to serve the army in a civilian capacity as a staff administrator after his return to the US. He was a member of his local VFW.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents: Anthony and Ann (nee Martella) DePrince and his sister: Philomena Hale.

He is survived by his wife: Kathleen DePrince (nee Priore), his sister: Maryann Brunetto (Michael), and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 10:30-11:30 am at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 am at Beeson Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE following the service.
