Charlotte (Miles) Minner

Charlotte Minner, of Newark, Delaware, passed away on October 19, 2023 at the age of 79. She was at peace and surrounded by her loving family. 

She attended Dickinson Highschool where she graduated in 1962, then attended classes at Goldey Beacom College.  She was a hard-working independent woman, who worked various retail stores until becoming a legal secretary for 20 years.  She finished her career in the insurance field until retirement, where she sold Avon in her spare time.

She loved taking her beloved dog, Haley, for long walks. She was an avid gardener and loved to grow vegetables and providing canned goods for her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors, feeding and watching the birds (particularly her hummingbirds), and loved snowy days. She also enjoyed day trips to Lancaster, PA for shopping and sightseeing.

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Minner.

She will be dearly missed by her devoted sons Leonard Reynolds and wife Tracy (Bear, DE) and Kenneth Reynolds and wife Kim (Middletown, DE). Her three beloved grandchildren Erin, Scott, and Ryan of Bear and Middletown, DE.  Her beloved niece Stephanie (Newark, DE) and nephew Derek (Petaluma, CA).

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10-11:00 am at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at Beeson Funeral Home.
