Cheryl A. Baran

In loving memory, Cheryl A. Baran, age 64, of Bear, DE, has been called to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 21, 2023 after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Barbara L. Williams of Claymont, DE.

Cheryl attended Claymont High School and graduated in 1976. She went on to work for DuPont and then the State of Delaware. She loved being with family and friends and was a member of the Christ the Cornerstone United Methodist Church. She had a special love for her pet dogs, who gave her much joy.

Cheryl “Sherri” is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Brian K. Baran; her son, Joshua K. Baran; sisters, Debra Albertson (Gary) and Marsha Slichter (Geoff); brothers, Joseph Williams, Jr. (Michelle) and David Williams; and sister-in-law, Cindy Williams, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A viewing will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 10-11:00 am at Christ the Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 3135 Summit Bridge Rd., Bear, DE 19701. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will take place at Gracelawn Memorial Park in New Castle, DE following the service.
