Denise Michelle (Barnett) Mann

Denise Michelle Mann, age 67, of Bear, Delaware, was born in Orange, New Jersey, in 1958. She departed this life to be with Jesus on March 26, 2026.

Denise graduated from East Orange High School in 1976 and went on to serve as a toll collector.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jimmy Barnett and Judith Wright and siblings: Marc, Derrick, Jannett, and Joy.  

She is survived by her children: Monique Horton, Ronnie (Whitney) Mann, of San Antonio, Texas, and Michele (Jakevis) Thomas of Bear, Delaware; her grandchildren: Asia McMair, Desiree Horton, Mahlia Mann, Kaiah Mann; and numerous great grandchildren. Denise is also survived by her niece: Asia Barnett and nephews: Sean and Michael Wright.

Denise had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and found comfort in His promises. She believed in eternal life and now rest peacefully in Heaven, reunited with her loved ones. Densie has left behind a legacy of faith for her children and grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. A celebration of her life will follow at 12:00 pm at Beeson Funeral Home. Interment will be private on a later date.
