Dennis James Roca

Dennis James Roca, age 68, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Christiana Hospital in Newark.

Dennis worked for at Chrysler for 36 years until his retirement. He loved bird watching and often traveled to different areas to see each species with his cousin Kimmy. He also enjoyed collecting rare gems and musical instruments, but his favorite thing was spending time with his family and his many friends; which he made everywhere he went. Dennis was an animal lover and he always had milk bones in his pocket, ‘just in case’. He had many pictures of the dogs that he met in his travels.

Dennis is survived by his brother, Michael Roca (Janet), his sister, Trina Seramone (Kevin), and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Electrician’s Hall, 814 W. Basin Rd., New Castle, DE. In lieu of flowers, donation in Denny’s name may be made to any charity of your choosing that benefits animals.
