Dorothy "Dot" June (Gossard) Stonebraker

Dorothy June Gossard Stonebraker “Dot” age 93 years, of Robscott Manor, Newark, DE passed away on August 18th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Stonebraker “Pop” to whom she shared 38 years of marriage.

Dorothy was born in 1929 in Johnstown, PA and was the daughter of Edwin and Margaret Gossard, sister to Sam and Dick Gossard.

Dorothy will be forever missed by her children Thomas Stonebraker Sr. (Carol), Shirley Falbo (James), Jeffrey Stonebraker Sr. (Cynthia), Robert Stonebraker II (Marie) and son in-law Richard Wehde. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Wehde and son Corky.

Dorothy dedicated her life to her family which includes her 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dorothy looked forward to spending time with her family and friends and cherished the memories they shared.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Hwy, Newark DE 19702 on Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at 5pm. Friends and Family are invited to visit beginning at 4 pm. A private burial service will be held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
