Edward Domzalski Obituary

Edward Joseph Domzalski, age 85, of Newark DE passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Delaware Veterans Home, Milford, DE.

Ed graduated from Drexel University.  He was employed as a manager for Sears, Roebuck and Co.  Mr. Domzalski served his country proudly as a captain in the US Marine Corps.

Ed is survived by his wife, Olivia Domzalski of Newark, DE; children, Jane Galloway of Mt. Laurel, NJ, David (Dawn) Domzalski of West Chester, PA, Donald (Stacey) Domzalski of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren, Taylor Galloway, Justin, Haley and Alexa Domzalski; sisters, Joanne Koszarek of Deptford, NJ, Carol (Lee) Rominiecki of Ocean View, NJ.

Ed and Olivia could always be found cheering on their beloved Phillies – no matter the record.  Ed enjoyed deep-sea fishing, time spent in Wildwood Crest, bowling, reading, photography and playing cards with neighbors. Everyone knew Ed could fix anything.  If you needed something done in your house, to your car or in your yard, Ed was your man. He was also an avid HO train lover.  In his later years, he designed and brought to life an entire town he called Smallville.  He constructed and painted buildings, homes, streets, landscaping and small people. Ed’s handyman talents, his love of sport and photography have been passed to his children and grandchildren.

The family is indebted to everyone at Delaware Veterans Home for their loving care of Ed in his last years.
