Elizabeth Waguespack Obituary

Heaven has a new angel.  Elizabeth Giorgi Waguespack, 56, entered the kingdom of heaven on September 26, 2020.  Liz was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in June of 2019 and fought very hard, along with the help of the doctors, staff and the Helen Graham Cancer Center. Her family is very proud of her and how hard she fought. They will miss her dearly, but it is time for her to rest.

Liz loved life. Whether it was watching her daughter play softball, her son run cross-country, playing mini golf as a family, or playing with her grandkids, Liz always enjoyed life. She once said she always wanted to be a wife and a mother.  She became a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She became a Houston Astros fan and watched games whenever she could.  Liz and Louis tried to go to Texas and see their grandkids and Facetimed with them as often as they could. Liz had her CPA and was a financial analyst at JP Morgan Chase for almost 21 years where she had many friends.

In addition to her husband of 21 years, Louis Waguespack, she is survived by twins Beth & Zach. She is also survived by 3 stepsons, Matthew Waguespack, Christopher Waguespack (Raven), and Bradley Waguespack (Jessica), two grandchildren Parker Waguespack & Piper Waguespack, her parents Pete Giorgi (Ellen) and Betty Giorgi, sister Ann Paris (Mark) and 3 brothers Peter Giorgi, Sal Giorgi (Donna) and Anthony Giorgi (Eva). In addition, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is predeceased by stepson Andrew Waguespack.

Due to COVID restrictions, there will be a private ceremony.
