Frank Edward Hohn, Sr,

Frank Edward Hohn, Sr., of Newark, Delaware passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was 72 years old.

Born in Johnson City, New York in 1948, Frank was the son of the late Robert Hohn, Sr., and Elizabeth Frank Hohn. He graduated in1960 from Christina High School.

Frank was a US Navy Corpsman Veteran and was proud to have served his country.  He served prior to and during the Vietnam War. After a career with DuPont, he was also employed at Sears and Lowes.

Over 45 years ago, Frank met the love of his life, Marcy Hrubovcak on a blind dinner date. They married May 22, 1976 in Chester, PA.  Frank had a passion for reading and going to dinner with Marcy.

In addition to his wife, Marcyanna Hrubovcak Hohn, Frank is survived by three children: Jennifer Hohn Wegener (Steve) of Lynchburg, VA; Frank Edward Hohn of Newark, and Wayne Pennachi of North Carolina; five grandchildren: Myra, Mackenzie, Wyatt, Laura and Max; brother Robert J. Hohn Jr.

Due to Covid restrictions, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Newark, Delaware, followed by a committal in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, Delaware.
