Gail R. (Morrison) Liberatore

Gail R. Liberatore, age 59 of Bear, Delaware, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2021 at Christiana Hospital. 

Gail married Ralph J. Liberatore II in 1980 and immediately became a military spouse. Gail remained married to Ralph until her death.  They were married for 42 years.  In 1982, Gail gave birth to her first child Danielle Nicole and in 1990 gave birth to her second child Patrick Joseph.

In 1989, Gail began working for the Delaware Department of Correction and rose to the rank of Sergeant before working for Delaware State Probation and Parole. She retired from State Service in 2004. 

Gail enjoyed making crafts, painting, flower arranging and decorating her home. Gail devoted her years to her husband, children, grandchildren and faith.

She is survived by her husband Ralph, daughter Danielle Nicole Belford, son Patrick, and grandchildren Kayla Nicole Belford, Kolton Nicholas Belford, Rhys Harper Liberatore and Denver Joseph Liberatore. She will be truly missed by many. 

Funeral Services will be held at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway on Thursday June 10, 2021at 11:00 am where visitation will begin at 10:00 am. A commital service will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Monday June 21, 2021 at 10:00 am.
