Glenomia Clark Obituary

Glenomia Mae Clark, 74, of Thomas, WV and formerly of Wilmington, DE went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday May 6, 2018.

Glenomia was part of the graduating class of 1962 from Mountaineer High School in Thomas, WV. She went on to a 17 year career as a grade school teacher at a Private School in Newark, Delaware.

She had a sincere love of people and was active in the Red Hatters Club as well as the Woman's Auxiliary at the fraternal order of Eagles 936 in Davis, WV. She had a true heart for God and loved her church family. She was active in the women's church group at Community Bible Church in Davis, WV.

Glenomia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She loved her home in the beautiful hills of West Virginia. She lived in the house where she was born and raised and took great pride in creating a home that was filled with love, laughter and treasured memories, where coffee was always on and everyone was always welcome.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Francis R. Clark of Thomas WV., her three loving daughters Kimberly Ann Wright of Newark, DE, Sylvia Lynn Wilson (Ronald) of Wilmington, DE and Rhonda Lee Shildt (David) of Bear, DE. She adored her grandchildren who will truly miss her, Tabitha L. Still (Brandon), Ronald D. Wilson Jr., and Sarah Lynn Shildt as well as her great grandchildren Logan and Avery Joi. She also leaves behind her sister Anne Wilson, 2 step children Ann Cecil and Chris Knorr, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She is preceded by her siblings; Ruth Mercante, Noah (Tom) Carr, Rose Ford, Charles Carr and Robert Carr.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Community Bible Church in Davis, WV.
