Janice S. Harrison Bednash, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on October 9, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Affinity, West Virginia in 1936 the daughter of Steve and Edra Harrison.

Her biggest enjoyment in her life was sharing time with her family. She also loved reading, garage sales and countless hours watching her children and grandchildren play sports.

Janice is predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Terri. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John. Those she leaves behind include her two brothers Gary and Larry Harrison, two sons Stephen and Michael (Amy), seven grandchildren Keith (Amy), Mark, Kyle (Damiana), Katie (Ryan), Alex, Nick and Ryan, three great-grandchildren Aiden, Dexter and Mia, and several nieces and nephews Lisa Taylor-Ellison, Kevin and Alan Taylor of Beckley, West Virginia, James Harrison of Huntington, WV and Stacy of Ona, WV.

Due to COVID-19, services will be immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to her favorite charity – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105, attention: Janice Bednash memorial fund.
