Janice C. (Webber) Ward

Janice C. Ward (nee Webber,) age 67, of Bear, DE, passed away at her home on March 10, 2025, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Janice was born in 1957, to parents Robert H Webber and Elizabeth M Birney in Statesville, NC. After graduating from Christiana High School in 1975, she enjoyed being a realtor for 27 years and was also widely known as a talented seamstress.

In 1976, she married the love of her life, Raymond Ward. This year, they would have celebrated 49 wonderful years of marriage.  

Janice is survived by her husband, Raymond; children Kimberly Seefeld (Troy) of Rockledge FL, Damien Ward (Shannon) of Bear, DE, and Amanda Garvine (Chris) of Elkton, MD; her sister Joyce Barrar (Harry), brother Robert Webber; grandchildren Isabella, Griffin, Jesselyn, Camrin, Emmersyn, Layla, and Remington as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10-11:00 am at Beeson Funeral Home of Newark, 2053 Pulaski Hwy Newark, DE 19702. A memorial service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be private.
