John Bell Obituary

John Bell, beloved son, brother, father, and husband, passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2024. He was born in 1975 and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication.

John was a proud graduate of Archmere Academy and continued his education at the University of Delaware, where he honed his skills and his passion for computer systems. He put his talents to good use as a Computer Systems Manager at Delaware Park, where he worked diligently and earned the respect of his colleagues.

In his personal life, John cherished moments with his family above all else. He is survived by his son, Robert Bell, whose presence brought him immeasurable joy. Despite the ups and downs of life, John maintained a close bond with his ex-wife, Angie Hionis-Bell, as well as his brother, Jim Bell (Stephanie), and his mother, Mary Bell. He is preceded in death by his father, James Bell.

Beyond his professional and familial responsibilities, John found solace within nature. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed spending time walking through the local park with family and friends.

John’s passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him. His memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by his kindness, humor, and unwavering love. Though he may be gone, John’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
