Katherine Gail Heverin

It is with a heavy heart that we announce Katherine Gail Heverin passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 76.

Kathy was born in Wilmington, DE and resided in Elkton, MD. She attended grade school at Oak Grove and graduated from Henry C. Conrad in 1962. She worked in banking for many years.

Kathy enjoyed attending church, caring for her animals, and spending time with her family. She was a volunteer for 4-H and loved attending horse shows.

Kathy was predeceased by William Heverin, who was her husband for years and by Penny L. Heverin, her beloved daughter.

Kathy was a caring mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three children, William J. Heverin, A. Christi Biddle and Andrew J. Heverin; her four beloved grandchildren, Holly J. Heverin, W. Gage Baber, Taylor M. Heverin and Izabela B. Biddle; and her brother, Michael J. Touchton.

Services will be held at the Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702 on Friday, September 30, 2022. Family and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720 immediately following.
