Keith Boykin

Keith Boykin, age 56, of Bear, Delaware, passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2026. Keith’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He attended Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville, GA and graduated in 1988.  Keith later attended Wilmington University and graduated in 2004.

He built a career in banking and most recently worked at Wells Fargo, where he was known for his dedication, commitment, and strong work ethic.

Keith was a lifelong and passionate Philadelphia sports fan. He proudly followed his beloved Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles, and some of his favorite memories were made watching games in the stands alongside family and friends. 

Those who knew Keith best will remember him as the life of the party. He was always ready with a quick joke, a laugh, and a story. He had an unmistakable ability to make people feel comfortable, bring people together, and turn a moment into a memory. Keith loved life. He loved to laugh and be surrounded by family and friends. Whether he was cheering on the Phillies or Eagles, listening to Ozzy Osbourne, traveling with his family, or simply spending time with the people he loved, Keith was happiest when he was making lifelong memories.

Above all else, Keith was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. His family was at the center of his world, and the love he had for them was evident in everything he did.

Keith’s sudden passing came far too soon and left an enormous void for everyone who loved him. His family and friends will forever remember his laughter, his quick wit, his sense of humor, his passion for Philadelphia sports, his love of music, travel, and, most of all, the tremendous love he had for his family.

Keith may be gone far too soon, but the laughter, love, stories, adventures, and memories he gave to those around him will live on forever.

Keith is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Shader Boykin, and his children, Andrew Boykin (Maribelle); Justin Boykin; and Brandon Boykin. He is also survived by his parents, James and Carolyn Boykin; his siblings, Brian Boykin, Andrea Taylor (Jason) and Sharon McFarland; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Darla.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 10-11:00 am at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, Delaware 19701. A celebration of his life will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
