Keith D. Patton

Keith D. Patton, born in Ridgewood NJ, passed away peacefully at home in Newark DE surrounded by his family on April 9, 2026 at the age of 90.

Keith graduated from Brown University and was drafted into the US army. Afterwards, he settled in Newark, Delaware and had a long career as a computer programmer at the University of Delaware, retiring in 1993.

As a young man, Keith loved going to the New Jersey beaches. It was there that he met his beloved wife of 58 years, Suzanne. He and his wife shared a passion for running and biking and participated in many events over the years, including marathons and triathlons. Keith also enjoyed playing golf and organized golf outings for the Newark Senior Center. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching Phillies baseball and very much enjoyed seeing the Eagles win the Super Bowl. Keith liked to listen to his record collection which included artists such as Elvis, The Rolling Stones, Neil Diamond and other ‘classics’.

Keith was a supportive, loving father to his children. He treated his family with patience, generosity, and love. He will be dearly missed.

Keith leaves behind his wife Suzanne, and son Bryan and daughter Laurie.
