Kevin B. Majors

On Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, Kevin B. Majors of Bear, Delaware passed away suddenly at the age of sixty-seven.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  Born in 1955 in Binghamton, New York, he moved to Delaware at the age of eight.  He graduated from Christiana High School in 1973, was a lifetime member of the Christiana Fire Department, and retired from DuPont (Siemens) with 40+ years of service

Kevin loved fishing, bowling, meeting with his siblings for pinochle, and spending time with his family, especially his six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Rita Majors.  He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years: Margaret “Peggy” Majors; his sons: Kevin King of Bear, DE,  James King and husband Jeremy Hampton of West Grove, PA,  and Christopher and wife Lauren King of Newark, DE;  grandchildren: Julie, Kyle, Natalie, Lauren, Kody, and Kaylee; brothers: David and wife Nancy, Ricky and wife Cathy; sister: Kim, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 09:30-10:30 am at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. A memorial service will follow at 10:30 am at Beeson Funeral Home. Interment will be a Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
