Kimberly K. (Brown) Viets Obituary

Kimberly Kay Viets, 58, of Bear, Delaware passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. 


Kim was born in Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from Thomas McKean High School in 1984.   She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and was affectionately known as “Mimi”.    Her hobbies included bingo, doing puzzles, baking, reading on the beach, walking her dog Tashi, and cheering on the Phillies!


Kim started her career working at various accounting firms.  Twenty-five years ago, Kim started her own business, Bottom Line Bookkeeping LLC.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Linda and H. John Brown Sr of Wilmington Delaware.


Kim will be dearly missed and is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Richard (Rick); her children: Ryan (Alexus), Brandon, Alexi (Pete); grandchildren: Raelyn Rodick, Michael Gallicchio, and Rylee Viets.  She is also survived by her brother: H. John Brown (Tara) and sister: Jennifer Brown, as well as her nieces, nephews, and extended family.


A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 9:30-11:00 am at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at Beeson Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Gracelawn Memorial Park in New Castle, DE following the service.
