Latarsha Cephas, age 70, of Bear, Delaware, passed away at her home on January 25, 2022.

Latarsha (known to everyone as Tody) was born in Washington, DC to William and Selena Hicks.

Her parents relocated to Philadelphia where she was raised.  As a young woman, living in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, she met Lewis (who lived directly across the street).

She enjoyed traveling, roller coasters, family gatherings, crossword puzzles, arts and crafts and her doll collection.

For over 50 years, Latarsha and Lewis shared their life together. They raised their family in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and eventually retired in Delaware. Latarsha will be lovingly remembered by her husband Lewis, her children Harold, Troy, Toi and Demetrius; grandchildren Charmaine, Andrea, Mone, Justice, Troiana, Emani, Sashay, Jermaiha, Kyara, Amia, Jade, Troy, Jared, and Dylan; great grandchildren Peyton, Taylen, Mazi and Camden; son-in-law Andre Luckey and daughters-in-law Terita and Jonise Hicks

Latarsha was predeceased by her parents, William and Selena Hicks.

Funeral services will be held at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, Delaware 19702 on Friday February 4, 2022 at 11:00 am where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 am.  A committal service will be held in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, Delaware on Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 11:00 am.
