Linda Quinn Obituary

Linda Rose Quinn, age 73, of Newark, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2024.  Linda was born in Atlantic City, NJ, the only child of George and Rose Johnston. She attended Holy Spirit High School graduating in 1969.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gene and two daughters, Gina Poe of Newark, DE and Lisa Beatson (JR) of Bear, DE.  Linda also leaves behind two grandchildren, Ella and Ryne Beatson along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Linda was a homemaker who took pride in her involvement with her children, whether being the homeroom mom or helping with the school PTA.  She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, reading and watching reality tv shows.  But her greatest joy was attending her grandchildren’s sports events and cheering for them.  She will be greatly missed and we are thankful of the time with her.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 10-11:00 am at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am at Beeson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Wilmington, Delaware.
