Lois J. Debbrecht of Elkton, Maryland, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, a few hours after a peaceful family service with her children. She was 88 years old.
She was sadly diagnosed with COVID-19 complicated by a rapid onset of pneumonia.
Born in Sioux City, Iowa, Lois was the beloved wife of Frederick J. Debbrecht (deceased); devoted mother of Lori Irons, Lynn Stallone, Mike Debbrecht, Julie Kiley and Mark Debbrecht (deceased). In addition, she leaves behind her sister, Betty Isbell, her brother, Gerald Beason (deceased), son-in-laws, Steve Irons, Steve Stallone and Jeff Coladonato, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Lois enjoyed life, family members and her close friends. She was known for the meticulous house she kept. She was an excellent cook and a talented seamstress. She enjoyed time with her family and hearing about the adventures of her grandchildren. She was a kind neighbor, and friend, loved and respected by all that knew her.
She will be sorely missed.
As per Lois’ wishes, the family will have a private service to celebrate her life.
