Madelyn C. (Tenuto) Mills

Madelyn C. Mills, age 92, of Newark, DE, and formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 in Newark, DE.

Madelyn was a 1952 graduate of Chester High School and went on to work as a food service manager.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Mills in 2003.

She is survived by her daughter: Michele Markiwicz (Addis) of Newark, DE; her sons: James “Vinney” V. Mills (Coleen) of Wilmington, DE and Micheal S. Mills (Debie) of Wilmington, DE; her grandchildren: Bryan Markiewicz, Christine Markiewicz, Catherine Mills, Rachel Mills, and Mitchel Mills; and great grandchildren: Jackson, Jameson, and Owen Markiewicz.

Services for Madelyn will be private. She will be interred privately at the Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.
