Mary H. Kivlin Obituary

Mary Helen Kivlin, age 81, of Bear, Delaware, formerly of Philadelphia. PA died on May 31, 2020.

Mary graduated from Hallahan High School in 1956. She was a retired Communication Specialist at a local hospital.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Porter of Philadelphia. She is survived by her loving husband, James Kivlin of Delaware; two daughters, Mary Sharon of Ohio and Patricia Ann Hnat Perna of Delaware; five sons, James Kivlin of Maryland, Alphonso Charles Perna of Florida, Michael Steven Perna, Fiore Kenneth Perna and John Joseph Perna, all of Pennsylvania; and a brother, William Porter of Maryland. Mary loved her family and her cat Grizzly. She was a wonderful wife and mother and will be missed greatly.

Christian Burial will be held privately on Friday June 5, 2020. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Mary to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germany Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.
