Mildred Gladys (Graves) Beeson

Mildred Gladys Beeson, age 91, of Smyrna, DE, passed away peacefully at her home on April 13, 2024.

Mrs. Beeson retired from E.I. duPont de Nemours after 30 years of service. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of New Castle, having been a member since 1958 which was, at that time, located in old historic New Castle.

She is survived by her three sons: Dennis R. Chidester (Diane) of Newark, DE, Alan L. Chidester (Cheryl) of Hockessin, DE, and Wayne Chidester of Smyrna, DE; as well as her sister Betty Graves of Magnolia, DE.

A graveside service will be held on promptly at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701.
