Patricia A. (Mackie) Peterson

Patricia A. Peterson (neé Mackie), age 90, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at her home.

Patrica graduated from Elkton High School in 1953 and married George E. Peterson, Sr. on March 5, 1954.

She loved to travel, especially to visit various lighthouses, attend NASCAR races, and play at local casinos.

Patricia is survived by 4 brothers and 1 sister, her children: Pamela Dougherty of Elkton, MD, Joseph Peterson (Cyndi) of Clayton, DE, and George Peterson, Jr. (Cindy) and Tony Peterson (Joyce) of Newark, DE; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in 2017.

Her family will have a private Remembrance for Patricia at their convenience.
