Paul Fisher Obituary

Paul J. Fisher of Newark, Delaware passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2021 at Christiana Hospital.

Paul is predeceased by his parents Robert Sr. and Paula Fisher. He is survived by his siblings, Robert Fisher Jr., Deborah Joiner, Pamala Aspril and Dawn Fisher. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Patricia Whisman, Estella and Attilio Sisofo,  Jr., many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends Edward Rash, Bill Nagle,Sherman Hunt and James Tedesco.

Paul grew up loving the game of baseball. He played organized baseball until the age of sixteen and loved to show off the trophies he earned pitching for the all-star team during his Babe Ruth League days. He was very competitive. It didn't matter what it was, darts, bowling, horseshoes, ping pong or even miniature golf, and you had better bring your A game because he wasn't one to show any mercy. Paul was good at everything he did! I can see his friends now, nodding their heads and smiling at the memories. Paul knew how to have fun.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, no memorial will be held at this time. In place of services there will be a Celebration of Life scheduled for sometime in the mid to late summer. Friends and family will be contacted via Facebook, email, text or maybe even an old fashioned phone call. If you wish to donate to a charity in Paul's name, donations can be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
