Phyllis A. (Broskey) Inman

Phyllis A. Inman, age 71 of Wilmington, DE, passed away the morning of October 22, 2024 in the comfort of her daughter, Stephanie and granddaughter, Raylyn’s arms. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend and will truly be missed.

Phyllis passed away after a long hard battle against lung cancer. Many days she hid just how much pain she was in with her sense of humor. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog Minnie as well as with her family and friends. On days when pain was too much, she enjoyed playing online scrabble with her granddaughter and friends. Prior to cancer, she enjoyed going to the lake in NJ and battling it out at Lucky Leo’s Arcade in Seaside Heights with her grandchildren.

Phyllis had a crazy sense of humor that everyone she met will remember her for. She was strong and independent even when things were rough. Till the end, she continued to want to do things for herself and maintained her independence. Phyllis will truly be missed and remain forever in the hearts of her family and the people she met over the years.

She is proceeded in death, by her mother Dorothy and beloved dogs Bailey and Max.

She is survived by her dog: Minnie and daughters: Valerie and Stephanie Inman (Michael Helton). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Skylar Welch, Raylyn Inman (Tyler Keen), Gabby Dennis and Michael T. Helton.

Funeral services for Phyllis will be private. Phyllis had a big heart for dogs. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA where Minnie was rescued from in her honor.
