Richard W. Simpson

Richard W. Simpson, age 57, of Newark, DE passed away on Saturday June 29, 2019 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital after battling a long illness.

Richard was born in Bridgeton, NJ, son of Charlotte Robbins Simpson and the late William R. Simpson, Sr. He attended Glasgow High School and Hodgson Vo-Tech. He had several jobs before becoming a High Rise Window Washer.

Richard is predeceased by his father William R. Simpson Sr. He is survived by his mother Charlotte E. Simpson, his brothers, William R Simpson of Newark DE and Robert W. Simpson of Ephrata PA, his sister Debby Simpson Argentine and her husband Angelo of Bloomsburg PA, nieces Nicole L. Quillen of Newark DE, Rachael L. Wilson nee Quillen of Oxford PA, Adrian M. Argentine and Gabriella Argentine of Bloomsburg PA.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at BEESON Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
