Rosalie F. (Little) Evans

In loving memory of Rosalie F. Evans, age 98, of Newark, DE., and formerly of Smyrna, DE.  Rose passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, surrounded by her family.

 Rose was a homemaker and loved traveling.  She supported various Christian outreach ministries and especially loved visiting Isreal, to experience the places that Jesus once walked. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Orvale R. Evans, and her sons Richard (Steve), Timothy (Tex) and Phillip (Toby). 

She is survived by her son Terry M. Evans (Linda) and grandchildren; Karen Alexander (Aaron), Richard Evans, Jamie Evans (Donna), Stacey Evans, Danielle Schwartz (Edward), Annmarie Turulski (Gary), Rachel Cutrona (Paul), Heather Amos, Sarah Tews (Michael), Jared Evans, Kyle Evans (Andrea).   She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren.   

A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 12:30-1:30 pm at Beeson Funeral Home 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 pm at Beeson Funeral Home. Interment will be private at the Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date.
