Rosemarie Louise (Moore) Kovalevich

Rosemarie Louise Kovalevich, age 85, of Newark, DE and formerly of Pottsville, PA, passed away on December 14, 2025 in Newark, DE.

Rosemarie graduated from Nativity High School in Pottsville, PA, then went on to work at Solar Energy Systems as a quality control inspector in the late 70’s. In the early 90’s she worked checking in stock for Clover Department Store.

Rosemarie was a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kovalevich in 1999, as well as by her brothers: William, Joseph, and James; and her sisters: Caroline and Barbara.

Rosemarie is survived by her sons: Walter Kovalevich (Sue), Scott Kovalevich (Terry), and Eric Kovalevich; her grandchildren: Sean Kovalevich, Brandon Kovalevich, Jennifer Halter, Jamie Wear, and Clara Dam; her great grandchildren: Robert, Jacob, Cheyanne, Austin, Savannah, Elyse, and River; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 10-11:00 am at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be private at Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
