Russell Stafford

Russell Stafford, age 88, passed away at his home on August 29, 2022.

Russell was born and raised in North Carolina. He joined the Navy where he served on the U.S.S. Yorktown as a Navy Baker. He was an appliance salesman for 35 years. Russell enjoyed refinishing antique furniture, gardening, and spending time with family.

Russell is preceded in death by his son Russell D. Stafford.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley A. Stafford; his children, Donna L. Turner, Tammi L. Doss, and Beverly A. Neal; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and his best buddy, Duke.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Bear, Delaware.
