Theodore Baylis Obituary

Theodore W. Baylis, lovingly known by Skip, Ted, Dad, and Poppy, by family and friends, went home to Jesus on February 21, 2021 at age 78.   Skip was born to Harriett and Raymond Baylis in 1942 in West Grove, PA where he was raised as one of 11 children.   As an adult, he served in the military and retired after a long career with Chrysler Corporation.

Skip is survived by his loving partner Sandra and will be dearly missed by his children, Jimmy Neaves, Robin McIntire, Danielle Benson (Jim), and Ted Baylis, Jr;   his grandchildren Kacee Benson, Morgan Benson, and Benjamin McIntire;  and his sisters Sara, Ruth, and Susan.

Those who knew Theodore knew of his love for animals of all kinds, and when he was younger, his hobby of working on and driving sports cars and motorcycles.  Theodore loved all types of flowers. He appreciated fine and unique details of flowers, glassware, and antiques.

The family takes joy in knowing that he will be greeted in Heaven by friends and family who preceded him in passing.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16

A Committal at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private.
