Timothy "Tex" Evans Obituary

Timothy "Tex" Evans passed away at home unexpectedly on March 31, 2021. 

Tim was born in Mullens, West Virginia, to the Rose Evans and the late Orvale R. Evans.  Tim was a graduate of Newark High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1972-1975.  Tim was shipfitter by trade working at various shipyards in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Guam.  Retiring in 2012, he returned to the mainland to be close to family. 

He is survived by his mother Rose Evans, brother Terry (Linda), sister-in-law Debra Evans as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brothers Richard Evans and Phillip "Toby" Evans. 

He will be sadly missed! 

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Hwy, Newark, DE 19702. All attending will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing to maintain compliance with State COVID-19 Regulations. Admittance will be regulated.

A committal service and burial will be held on Thursday April 22, at 1:00 pm, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery  in Bear, DE.
