Wayne Roser Obituary

Wayne M. Roser, age 87 of Newark, Delaware died on March 9, 2020 at ManorCare Health Services - Pike Creek.

He was born and raised in Chester, Pennsylvania to parents William and Mary (Hubbell). He was a 1950 graduate of Ridley Park High School and lived in Brookhaven, PA for 23 years before moving to Delaware.

Mr. Roser worked for Sun Oil Refinery for over 40 years. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan. He was a member of the Nur Temple, was an avid golfer and a longtime Phillies fan.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Elizabeth (Betty) nee Rumford, daughter Debbie Roser of Newark, Delaware, daughter Karen Rembold (Michael) of Middletown, Delaware, son Wayne C. Roser of Newark, Delaware, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund @ heartlandhospicefund.org.
