William Woodrow Bair, II
“Billybair”
Billybair “has left the building” on May 18, 2021, one month shy of his 52nd birthday.
Billy was born in Pennsylvania to William and Patricia Bair. He was the baby of five children with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous friends, “brothers” and of course, his significant other, his “Ol lady” who he has known his whole life, Liz “Lizzie” Vitale.
Billy was a hard working truck driver for the past 20 years enjoying the last 15 the most as a milk hauler. He hated waking at 1:00 am, but loved getting home by 2:00 pm.
Anyone who knew Billy knew him as an avid reader. He would read anything in print, especially military history. He loved vintage cars, computer games (especially “World of Tanks”) and his gardens. While he hated tomatoes, he would still plant them for his “Ol lady” and stepson. Billy was also a member of the Delaware Saengerbund Club in Newark where he was one of the German dancers.
A Funeral Service will be held at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, Delaware on Tuesday May 25, 2021 at 11:00 am. Family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00 am. The burial will be held in Arlington Cemetery, Upper Darby, Pennsylvania on Thursday May 27, 2021.
