William J. Gorman Jr., 73, passed away on October 2, 2021 while at Christiana Hospital.
Bill was a proud U.S Air Force Veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. He worked at Avon in Newark, Delaware for 20 years before retiring.
He was predeceased by his father William J. Gorman Sr., daughter, Sandra Gorman and sister Diane Digiacomo.
He is survived by Linda, his loving wife of 32 years, his mother Anne Burke, sister Judy and brother Jimmy, daughter Victoria and husband Ron, their 2 children Zachery and Isabelle, and 2 grandchildren Ashley and Joseph Onorato, 2 step daughters Sharon (Joseph Mitchell) and Tabel (Adam McClain), 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A Committal Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery*, Bear, Delaware. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read’s Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
*Masks are required at Delaware Veterans Cemetery
