All of the cliché's fit Ed 100%
He was a stand up guy, his hand shake was his word, he was the salt of the earth, he was honest as the day was long.
It was a honor and a privilege being Ed's doctor and his friend. It was always a breath of fresh air, to speak with a person who was so grounded in his beliefs, his family, and his country. He always referred to Carol as the love of his life, even at the last appointment together. I will miss Ed, the country needs more Eds. May he rest in peace with Carol. His family certainly can always feel proud that Ed was their Father, relative or friend.
God Bless, Ed !!!

Edward was my "big brother." I will truly miss our talks and visits.

Uncle Ed was "One in a Million". He had a kind heart, a contagious laugh, and was passionate about not only racing and politics, but his family and friends. I will miss how positively eccentric he was and how his striking blue eyes always smiled. He loved my mom, and for it, changed her heart forever. Uncle Ed is gone all too soon. May his soul rest in peace.
