Patricia M Murphy
January 1, 1928 ~ January 10, 2010 (age 82) 82 Years OldThe funeral was so beautiful and the loving words from Lisa and Brian were very moving and even funny, which isn't a bad thing
I really enjoyed the luncheon talking with Dotty and Sharon. Thanks for all the wonder photos and a very beautiful day of memories
Mom was a feisty lady who spoke her mind. You always knew were you stood with her. My friends always remarked how much fun she was. There were times, especially after Dad died, when she really loved life and let you know it. Even if an event was relatively mundane, she would say things like "oh, this is a treat" or "isn't this fun?" We've been telling some great Patsy stories and laughing a lot. I will miss her terribly.
Pat welcomed me to Wilmington almost 30 years ago. She was my pal, my bridge partner at Greenville Country Club and I shared many happy evenings with her and your dad. Our paths hadn't crossed in recent years, but I have wonderful memories of a warm, loving, effervescent woman. I hope your memories of her bring you joy, too.
Ken joins me in sending our deepest sympathy,
Anne Wattman
PS I'd have sent a letter to one of you instead of this, but could not find an address.
Pat was a wonderful friend and all the Tri Delta enjoyed Pat.
It was only at Fonders Day in November that we all enjoyed
Pat's quick wit and warm conversation. She will be missed by
all.
We were so saddened to hear about your mother. She was such a feisty woman and so full of life! Please know that we are thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. I am sure there are some wonderful family stories to be shared.
